Studio Operations
Marcel Lehrer (Managing Director)
Along with his background in finance and management, Marcel brings more than a decade of experience in post production sound to Mercury.  He began his post sound career as studio manager for Brasher Sound, a position he served in most recently at Pacific Soundwaves.  Marcel has applied his talents to more than 200 features, MOWs, and episodic television.  In addition to his work in post, Marcel is a documentary film producer.  He is a graduate of Concordia University with a degree in Marketing.

Re-recording Mixers
Paul Ratajczak (President)
A twenty-five year sound supervisor and mixing veteran with hundreds of features to his credit, for an entrepreneur and a creative talent, Paul has built a reputation for his ability to create unique and cutting edge soundtracks while working within the budgetary constraints often associated with the independent and mini-major film worlds.
Jason Brennan (Re-Recording Mixer; Chief Engineer)
Began his career on the music side of the entertainment industry. He has recorded, scored, produced, and/or mixed music for a multitude of artists including Bruce Springsteen, Alanis Morissette, Glen Ballard, and The Urge, and on a variety of feature films, such as "Charlies Angels", and "We Were Soldiers". Though still maintaining a career in music, Jason has successfully transitioned onto the television and film re-recording mix stage. Recent mixing credits include the MGM release "Harsh Times", as well as "The Contract", "Wicked Little Things", ".45", "Unknown", and "End Game" .
Mark Ettel (Re-Recording Mixer)
A member of both the MPSE and CAS, mixes Dialog/Music and Sound Effects here at Mercury. With an Expert Certification from Digidesign, a background in music mixing, and twenty years in the business, Mark "brings to the console" a wealth of editing and mixing expertise. Current credits include "The Nines", "Shottas", "Alone With Her", "Black Irish", and the temp dubs for the Polish Brothers' Warner Independent feature "The Astronaut Farmer". In addition to his feature credits, Mark has mixed an impressive list of television movies, miniseries and animation projects. Clients have included Walt Disney, ABC Family, Fox Family Worldwide, Warner Brothers, Tri-Star and Larry Levinson Productions.
Sam Lehmer (Re-Recording Mixer)
Sam Lehmer has been involved professionally in the sound business since 1980. During a 15-year career at Russian Hill Recording in San Francisco , he recorded and mixed sessions for John Lee Hooker, Joe Strummer, Charles Brown, Van Morrison, John Hammond, Roy Rogers, and Mark Isham. Sam’s focus eventually shifted to sound for film, and he has extensive credits as a Sound Editor, ADR Mixer, Foley Mixer, Supervising Sound Editor, Scoring Mixer, and Re-Recording Mixer. Mixing credits include Boogie Nights, Joy Ride, The Contender, True Stories (with David Byrne), The Thin Blue Line, and Play It To The Bone.
Lance Wiseman (Re-Recording Mixer/ADR Supervisor)
Might prefer to spend his evenings in Chavez Ravine hitting clean-up for the Los Angeles Dodgers, he spends his days (and reality) mixing films and supervising ADR at Mercury Sound. After humble beginnings as a runner at Signet Sound, he moved into sound editing and mixing at Signet and then at Magnolia Studios. Career highlights include "Narc", "Bubba Ho Tep", "My Sexiest Year", and "The Hitcher 2", and winning a Golden Reel for his work on "Sonic the Hedgehog".
ADR/Foley
Roberto Dominguez (Foley Mixer)
Started in post sound as an assistant dialogue editor for Brasher Sound. Today, Roberto is the lead Foley Mixer and Editor at Mercury Sound. From a credit list of over 100 movies, Roberto's favorites include "Undisputed 2", "Velvet Side of Hell", ".45", and "Black Irish". When he's not recording or editing foley, you can find Roberto on his skateboard, watching live UFC, or making his 4th round at the buffet at the Samba Brazilian Steakhouse.
Eric Hoeschen (Foley Artist)
Has worked on both sides of the foley glass. After starting in the machine room of Brasher Sound, Eric ambitiously advanced into the Foley and ADR mixing chair. He then spent several years as a re-recording mixer before returning to the foley stage. Independent features have become his specialty over the last eight years and he has walked foley for such seminal features as "Hard Eight", "The Spitfire Grill", "Smoke Signals", and "Bubba Ho-Tep".
Jeff Kettle (ADR Mixer)
Jeff started on the business end of sound, working for Klasky-Cuspo. Because of his background in music production and sound, he segued into post-production, including stints in the machine room, as Foley recordist, and as dialogue engineer. He has recorded and/or mixed Foley for "Jimmy Neutron," "Battlestar Galactica," and the animated "Scooby Doo" movies. One of his more memorable gigs was rerecording Foley for "Dirty Dancing," one of his favorite movies as a kid. When not in the ADR control room, he immerses in music as a DJ, producer, and avid vinyl collector.
Greg Jefferson (ADR Mixer)
An accomplished musician and engineer, started his career assisting composers and sound editors. Early assistant credits include Fox TV's "Futurama", "Swordfish", "Treasure Planet", and working on the freeway chase for "The Matrix Releaded". Greg's recent ADR Mixing credits include "The Contract", "How to Rob a Bank", "The Grift", and "Black Irish".
Nancy Parker (Foley Artist)
After twenty years on the foley stage, Nancy still loves the creativity and art of the craft. Credits include "Seabiscuit", "Signs", and "Grey's Anatomy". At Mercury, Nancy has worked on "Undisputed 2", "Alone With Her", ".45", "Blackbeard", and "Mysterious Island". After a long day in the foley pits, Nancy relaxes by practicing yoga and pilates, and by exploring the diverse entertainment offerings of the film, music and art scenes in Los Angeles.
Engineering
Anthony Krajchir (Sound Engineer)
Has an engineering background in sound for music, television and film. He graduated at the top of his class at Soundmaster Recording (where he was mentored by Brian Ingoldsby) and then taught mixing at the school. In the music world, Tony has worked with A Perfect Circle, Velvet Revolver, and Linda Perry. Feature and television credits include "The Contract", "The Lost City", "Harsh Times", "The Astronaut Farmer" and the FOX series "24".
Frank (Chief Executive Dog)
Was born in the summer of 2005 and made his first plane flight at the young age of 7 weeks old. All 2 pounds of him. Upon arrival in Los Angeles, he had some big plans after potty training. As Frank moved up quickly in his training, it didn't take him long to land the position of Chief Executive Dog at Mercury Sound Studios. He is a warm hearted, people loving CED who loves to give kisses to everyone around him. He enjoys long naps and heavy playtime as well a car rides. His personality is truly bigger than he is.
